Supported API platforms
API connections are optional. Trading Journal can also be used manually without connecting an exchange.
Use Trading Journal without an API connection
You can create a trading journal and record trades manually. An API connection is only needed when you want Bitease to import supported trades from an exchange.
Currently supported API platform
OKX is currently the only platform available for Trading Journal API connections. More platforms may be added later.
Read-only access only
Bitease only accepts OKX API keys with read permission. Keys with trading or withdrawal permission are rejected.
Supported OKX instruments
The importer supports OKX perpetual swaps (SWAP) and futures (FUTURES). Spot trades are not imported.
- SWAP: supported.
- FUTURES: supported.
- SPOT: not imported.
Regional OKX hosts
When Bitease asks for an OKX hostname, select the host that matches your OKX region. Supported hosts include www.okx.com, eea.okx.com, and us.okx.com.
