Two-factor authentication
Add an extra layer of security to your account with a one-time code from an authenticator app.
Enable 2FA
- Install an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, 1Password, or Authy.
- Open your Bitease security settings and choose Two-factor authentication.
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
- Enter the 6-digit code to confirm setup.
- Store your backup codes in a safe place.
Sign in with 2FA
After entering your password, enter the current code from your authenticator app. Codes refresh regularly, so use the newest code shown.
If you lose access to your app
Use a backup code at sign-in, or contact support@bitease.io from your account email so we can verify your identity and help reset 2FA.
