Understand allocation and return values

Portfolio overview values help you review how invested positions and cash contribute to the total account picture.

Allocation

Allocation shows how portfolio value is distributed across assets, cash, categories, sectors, or other groupings shown in the overview.

Current value and invested value

Current value uses available prices, manual valuations, cash balances, and currency conversion data. Invested value is based on your saved transaction history and cost information.

Cash value

Cash value represents available cash in cash-tracked accounts when it can be reported in the portfolio currency.

Return values

Return values compare current value with transaction-based cost and history. They are only as complete as the transaction, price, valuation, and currency data available to Bitease.

If a value looks incomplete

Open Reporting totals details or review affected rows when totals are partial. Partial reporting usually means required valuation or conversion data is missing.
