Read-only access and subscription limits

If portfolio actions are disabled, your account may currently have read-only access.

What read-only access means

Logged-in users without an active subscription can read and view their own portfolio data. They cannot perform write or mutation actions.

What you can still view

  • Portfolio overview data.
  • Accounts, categories, assets, and positions that belong to you.
  • Transaction and cash history that already exists.

Actions that require write access

  • Creating, editing, deleting, or reordering accounts and categories.
  • Adding, editing, or deleting transactions.
  • Changing portfolio settings.
  • Adding or changing cash and valuation entries.

If a button is disabled

A disabled action usually means the current user does not have write access for that action. Check your subscription status and account access before trying again.
