Why cash tracking can be disabled

Cash tracking can be unavailable when account settings, platform rules, existing history, or access level do not allow cash changes.

Account or platform rules

Some platforms do not support a cash account, while others may require one. Bitease uses those rules to decide whether the cash tracking control can be changed.

Existing cash history

If an account already has cash snapshots or cash transactions, Bitease may block changes that would make that history unsafe or unclear.

Read-only access

Users with read-only portfolio access can view cash data that already exists, but cannot enable, disable, add, edit, or delete cash tracking data.

What you can do

  • Check whether the selected account type and platform support cash tracking.
  • Review whether the account already has cash history.
  • Check whether your current access is read-only.
  • Use the account view to inspect existing cash balances when changes are not available.
