Why portfolio values can be partial
Partial values mean Bitease could not fully include one or more assets or cash balances in reporting totals.
What partial values mean
Bitease avoids showing a misleading complete total when required valuation or currency data is unavailable. Your portfolio data is still visible, but some reporting totals may be incomplete.
Common causes
- A market price is missing for an asset.
- A manual asset does not have a usable manual valuation.
- An FX route or FX quote is missing for currency conversion.
- A cash balance cannot be converted into the portfolio currency.
What you can check
- Open Reporting totals details to see affected assets and cash accounts.
- Check whether a manual asset needs a valuation.
- Check whether the cash account contains currencies that can be converted into the portfolio currency.
- Review the affected account, asset, or cash account for missing or unexpected data.
When manual valuations can help
If the affected asset is a manual asset, adding a current manual valuation can help Bitease include it in reporting totals. Provider-priced assets rely on provider market data instead.
When to wait for market or currency data
If the issue is a missing market price, FX route, or FX quote, values may become complete after the required market or currency data is available again.
