Portfolio tracker overview
The Bitease portfolio tracker helps you organize accounts, add transactions, and review your holdings in one place.
What the portfolio tracker helps you do
Use the portfolio tracker to build a clear view of what you own, where it is held, and how your portfolio changes after each transaction.
Portfolio value vs. realized gains
- Create accounts for brokers, exchanges, wallets, or manual tracking.
- Group accounts into categories that match how you review your portfolio.
- Add buy and sell transactions so positions and totals can be calculated.
- Review open positions, allocation, cash, and portfolio value from the overview.
The main building blocks
A category is a group for one or more accounts. An account is where assets and cash are tracked. Transactions create or update positions inside an account.
Recommended first setup flow
- Create your first portfolio account.
- Choose or create the category where that account belongs.
- Decide whether the account should track cash.
- Add your first buy or sell transaction.
- Review the portfolio overview to confirm the account, position, and totals look right.
What overview values depend on
Overview values depend on your transactions, account settings, portfolio currency, available market prices, and currency conversion data. If data is missing, some values may be shown as partial.
